Thomas Gibault is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal. Trained as an author-illustrator, he is Artistic Director at Moment Factory by day, and intaglio engraver at Atelier Circulaire by night.
His favorite subjects are the scientific investigation of the creative act and its manifestation, as well as the juxtaposition of the ultra-modern and the traditional, whether for immersive multimedia experiences or his aquatints.
He has collaborated on projects such as Arctic Adventures at the Boston Museum of Science, a permanent digital installation in Tokyo’s Shinjuku Station, and contributed to Childish Gambino’s This is America tour.
